ABOUT THE ARTIST
Marlon Croasdaile was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. During his youth, he enjoyed listening to sermons and spending his summers with family in the beautiful island of Jamaica. His journey began at 16 when he joined his school worship team and choir. During these formative years, he was called to ministry and he answered that call. Marlon pursued this journey at Valor Christian College in Columbus, Ohio where he majored in Music Ministry. During this time, Marlon faithfully volunteered as the musical director for the Metro Harvest Outreach Ministry of World Harvest Church and served as the interim praise and worship leaders in different ministries. As a college student, Marlon’s passion for ministry provided him with the opportunity to lead worship in chapel services and youth conferences.
Upon completion of the Music Ministry program at Valor, Marlon returned to New York City to continue his mission at Trinity Theological Seminary where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Theology. During this period, Marlon served on the worship team and youth ministry at Rugby Deliverance Tabernacle, his local church. His passion for inspiring young people through God’s word had become a solidified part of Marlon’s calling, particularly connecting through music. Marlon’s musical journey in New York City continued as he was featured on a variety of projects. In 2012, Marlon founded his group, Marlon Croasdaile and Triumphant where he co-produced his first album, Worth the Wait, with Denson Curwen. Marlon’s original arrangements and compositions were showcased through all his original songs on the album, which was a pivotal step on his musical ministry journey. Having something tangible he could share with the world, combined his love for music and the Word of God.
After courting and marrying his now wife Isabel, Marlon returned to Columbus, Ohio where he served as musical director and praise and worship leader of the Oasis of Love Community Church. It was here that the combination of Marlon’s education and musicianship culminated into what would become the foundation for his music ministry career. Marlon built the church’s entire music department from the ground up. He was featured on multiple projects, sung background for a variety of artists on live recordings and ministered with the Voices of Oasis Worship Team at various events. Marlon cites this as an integral part in establishing his musical repertoire that would inspire his work for years to come.
Marlon now resides in Orlando, Florida with his lovely and supportive wife Isabel. He serves in the music ministry at the World Embassy International Christian Center. In 2020, he released his single, Connected, written with his pastor Dr. Andre Golliday, a Stellar Award nominee songwriter. When you receive the call, it’s one that you must answer daily. Marlon intends to continue sharing the Word through music and worship and remain steadfast in his passion to do it All for the Glory of God.
