Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota Roderick Neal has been singing, songwriting, producing, and collaborating in the music industry for over 20 years. He has been blessed to perform internationally, spreading the message of faith, hope, and love in song. His vocals are purposefully in the service of the Lord, and his heart for people shines through with songs of inspiration, like his new single and music video, “Step 2 Calvary.” He hopes to continue to provide listeners with music that brings joy to your day, and a positive message branded on your heart. As Mr. Neal puts it, “My agenda has always been to create an atmosphere of hope through music for all people.”
Mr. Neal was blessed to know what he was called to do at the age of 10. When he decided to fully embrace his calling as a singer, songwriter, and a creative director, he knew it was going to be a very, very difficult road. In fact, Mr. Neal is still on that road, however he can finally see the horizon in the distance. He see His crystal springs and he’s positive it’s not a mirage.
Mr. Neal’s first studio recording is titled “Nothingless,”. He can remember the first time he heard his voice in the headphones. He thought to himself, I can’t hide any longer. Any imperfections and any sharp or flat notes would be embarking. So, he decided to improve his craft and take lessons to better the gift he was granted. As a result, “Right Place” was Mr. Neal’s full album which focused on his determination of being in the right location for God to be used to do His kingdom work.
“The Deliverance Anthem” is Neal’s second full album. This project focused on the power of praising God. This journey in his life helped Mr. Neal realize that there’s no way he could live without God in his life.
“Lord I believe” is Neal’s third full album. This project title spoke for itself! “Lord I believe I can make it”, says Roderick Neal. For this to happen Mr. Neal know that he must stay connected to God’s love. Nothing shall separate him from the love of God.
“In My Life” was Roderick Neal’s 4th and first project that included his group “Salvation Syndication.” This project was a way for Neal to help others who were looking to breakthrough in the ministry. Success in the music business was not the absolute goal, but succeeding in life’s trials was their ultimate goal. Music was the agent of healing and freedom. Neal believed this was a great project but he knew there was more that God was helping to grow as an artist and leader.
“Your’re My Holiday” What can we say? It was the first time Mr. Neal tried to make some cool songs that brought Christmas holiday cheer to the masses. He was delighted to complete this project.
’Cost of Living” was Mr. Neal’s coming back to the reason he was called to sing. It brought him to work with super producer and founder of Divers Music, Adrian Davis. With God’s help, this project gave Mr. Neal the opportunity to rise again. The cost of living for Jesus is high but His love paid for it all. Just know if you follow your call at a high level, It’s a test. It’s a trial. But you will succeed if you heed His call.
