Devine Jamz 2020 Compilation Playlist Critiqued By Music Reviewer Taylor Valery
At Devine Jamz Gospel Network, they love to celebrate licensed music from artists who have used their marketing services—artists who are independent, incredibly gifted, and simply ready for the better world.
There are over 21 songs on this 2020 featured compilation playlist. I had the pleasure of reviewing some of the artists included: DaeShawn Forrest, Traliece B., and Brian Psalms are a few to name the least. Other amazing and dedicated artists on the playlist include Bishop Kirvy Brown, Instruments of Musick, Angela Johnson-Neely, Ernest Gonder, Alex Vantrue, Andrew Farstar, Nona Brown, Deshawn White, DJ Infinite Mix, Teresa Jae, Zetta Boyd, and more.
Gospel music is a genre originating from rich roots of the black church. Call-and-response Christian hymns, and negro spirituals really helped to create such a wide genre—which, nowadays, has derivative forms like Christian Hip-Hop, Gospel Blues, country and rock & roll.
DaeShawn Forrest, for example, is a Christian hip-hop artist, and so is Deshawn White. I am happy DaeShawn’s ‘Distance’ is on this compilation playlist, it had a profound effect on my spirit while I reviewed it. The song is about removing toxic and unhelpful energies from your circle, so to focus more easily on the divine purpose placed within each of us.
My review opens with Traliece B.’s single ‘Nobody Knows,’ which is an ode to the all-mighty, all-knowing God. She is a talented artist who joined the roster at ‘Uplifting Music In The Spotlight’ with her own record label called ‘Wilde Jehu Music’. Listening to the former single is mind-moving, but when you listen to her hit song ‘Forever Love’, you will understand why this track is currently playing on multiple Urban and Urban AC FM Commercial Radio Stations throughout the United States. In fact, the song even hit the Top 50 Song Chart at WIMX FM Radio in Toledo, Ohio. Take a listen now and see if it moves you. It did for me! Prior to reviewing music, I went through relationships that seemed like hell on earth. ‘Forever Love’ causes you to think deeply about your life and why you should not fret relationships that are not in alignment with your purpose.
Traliece B. and DaeShawn Forrest are my favorite Devine Jamz artists because of my own personal struggles. I easily relate to them and their passion to contribute goodness. Of course, the others are just as gifted and effective in their artistry, so please check them out at the new Devine Jamz 2020 Compilation Playlist on all digital media outlets. There is music for almost anyone who love God!
